After searching all over the internet I have seen quite a few and the problem is that they fail because people forget to turn off the shutoff valve. This kit I purchased from bidet shower is really good as the handle will only go back on once you turn off the valve so I’m really happy. The only thing was attaching the valve to the 18mm back panel you need another adapter which bidet shower sell but i emailed them and they got back to me promptly with the attachment that’s required so thanks would definitely recommend.

Having seens this in operation at my relatives house, I was so impressed with it that I bought two, one for my bathroom and one for the shower room. The bathroom one has just been fitted after gutting and renovating the bathroom. The install was very easy. I hope it use will be as good as the one I used at my relatives house.
Recommend this for all muslim households and all non-muslims who like cleanliness.

The shut off valve is the main reason I bought this product.

This is just what we wanted. We first saw them in the Maldives and thought what a good idea especially as we had no room for a bidet in our bathroom. So glad we have one ourselves now.

KIT6180: Thermostatic Pre-set Warm Water Bidet Shower Kit with auto shut off valve
Thermostatic Pre-set Warm Water Bidet Shower Kit. This kit provides absolute peace of mind against accidental leakages, the water is always off when the shower is docked in the valve. To turn water on to hose and shower the shower needs removing from the dock and the dock turned 90 degrees to the vertical position. After use to place the shower head back in the dock the valve dock needs turning back to the horizontal position thus closing the valve and shutting off the water supply
Water temperature is pre-set to the desired operating temperature at the time of installation. The TMV6200 is factory set at 38C we recommend reducing this setting to 35C for bidet showers. The temperature is adjusted by removing the cap and turning the brass head screw in the required direction indicted by the coloured temperature markers Kit consists of the following parts.
- CST6000 Stainless steel shower head and high pressure ant- tangle hose.
- VAL2450 Special mirror chrome wall mounting bracket with integrated Auto Prompt Shut Off water isolating valve. Enabling you to hang your bidet shower in a convenient location within easy reach of the toilet. The Auto-Prompt water safety valve always ensures the water supply to your hose and bidet shower is safely turned off when the showerhead is docked, To view a short video on the operation of this safety valve click HERE
- TMV6200 Thermostatic Mixing Valve (not shown in main image)
- Requires minimum 0.3 bar water pressure.
