Although there had been alternatives available but this was the best combination for my existing toilet and cistern setup. The valve has been working very well so far, the securing part was the best part for choosing the part. Overall, satisfied with the product and service.

VAL0870: Ceramic On / Off Water Isolating Angle Valve with extra long thread
This valve shuts off the water supply to the shower head when not in use, avoids accidental spillage.
Ceramic disk technology creates a tight, long lasting seal. Eliminating all annoying drips. We've removed the rubber washers from our valves and replaced with ceramic discs! All that is required is a 1/4 turn of your shower valve and the ceramic discs will close, forming an impenetrable seal, tranquility and peace of mind
The valve operates with 1/4 of a turn. For use with our bidet showers. manufactured in premium grade solid brass with 10 microns of mirror chrome plate finish.
Inlet and Outlet spigots have standard 1/2" BSP shower threads. The inlet spigot thread is 50mm long enable it to be fitted through wood or stone up to 30mm thick and secured in place with the supplied back nut
